LINEAGE EXTRAS
NCsoft offers free guides to help you learn about Lineage. There are currently two guides that you may download:
Lineage Guide Book – a full guide consisting of three sections: Getting Started, More About Lineage, and Reference.
Quick Start Guide – gives basic information on getting up and running in Lineage (CD-sized).
NOTE! Due to the fact that Lineage is an evolving online game, some information in these guides may not be completely up-to-date by posting time. Guides are generally updated a couple of times per year, in conjunction with episodic releases. Occasionally, revisions are made between major updates.

Desktop Wallpaper
Want to show off Lineage on your desktop? Grab some Lineage desktop wallpaper! Right-click your favorite image and select "Save target as" to save the wallpaper image to your computer. For those images with multiple sizes available, click the image size you wish to download and it will open in a new window. You can then save this image to your computer.
Midi Music
Looking for the original MIDI music familiar to Lineage gamers around the world? With the release of Lineage Episode X, the PC version of Lineage will use all new mp3 music files. But veteran Lineage players can still listen to the original or updated midi music. Just follow the instructions using an Episode X client only and you’ll be able to change your gameplay music to suit your moods!
1. Download the appropriate midi file and unzip.
2. Rename the unzipped file to 0.mid and place it in your Lineage/Sounds directory.
3. Run the Mconfig.exe file located in your main Lineage directory.
Note: You must have the Lineage Windows client for Episode X or higher to use this tool.
