In the year 2009, we will encounter this sinister day and date combination three times which only happens once every 11 years. Today, March 13th 2009, marks the second month in a row with our next Friday the 13th coming in November. Many people have phobias about traveling on this day and others won't conduct business out of fear of bad luck. A combination of the number 13 and Friday being considered the most unlucky day of the week causes varying degrees paraskevidekatriaphobia - the irrational fear of Friday the 13th.
