Summer Double XP Event

We will be taking the servers down at 1pm CDT / 6pm GMT on Friday, July 4th for a Double XP Event. This event will last until Monday, July 7th at 1pm CDT / 6pm GMT. Critters all across the land will find themselves carrying around extra loot. A weekend of extra loot and double XP is the perfect way to beat the summer heat!

On Tuesday morning we will be engaging in various bits of maintenance across our network, and between 8:15 to 10:15 CDT (1:15-3:15 GMT) there may be an interruption in either Lineage I game or message board service. This offline period should not last the entire duration of the maintenance window, however, but at least 15-30 minutes.

When a character's weight hits 48% they will not regen HP/MP.
New characters that go to Hidden Valley or Singing Island will be teleported to Silver Knight Town.

Server Maintenance/Event 3/14

The Lineage NPC server will be going offline at 3PM CST (9PM GMT) Friday, March 14 to kick off the St. Patrick's Day weekend. We're increasing your chances of getting loot by doubling the drop probability. You won't have to log off when we make the change, but make sure your pets and summons are stowed securely with their pockets emptied. The luck o' the Irish runs out on Monday, March 17 at 3PM CST.

Server Maintenance 1/9

All Lineage servers will be going offline at 1PM CST (7PM GMT) Wednesday, January 9, for maintenance. The Holiday Event is coming to a close: Orc Santas have left the city squares and the event items (Santa Belt, Reindeer Collar, Snowman Ring, Holiday Pie, and Holiday Stocking) have been removed. These changes will be applied to the PTS at 11AM CST (5PM GMT) on Wednesday as well.

Winter Event News

Fracas and the Lineage team want to wish everyone throughout Aden a happy holidays. To this end we're bringing back the Lineage Winter Holiday Event, starting on December 19 at 1:00PM CST with a server maintenance reset. This event will also go up for testing on the PTS December 12 at 2:00PM CST. Speaking of the PTS, be forewarned, we'll be wiping the PTS database before we go live with the event build.]]> NOTE: The Polymorphs kick off at 1:00 PM CST on their respective dates.

Phase 1 Dec 19 - Black Knight, Black Mage, Black Ranger polymorphs enabled.
Phase 2 Dec 24 - Silver Knight, Silver Mage, Silver Ranger polymorphs enabled.
Phase 3 Dec 28 - Sword Master, Wizardry Master, Arrow Master polymorphs enabled.
Phase 4 Jan 04 - Arch Knight, Arch Wizard, Arch Scout polymorphs enabled.
Jan 9 - all Polymoprh events end.

You will also see snow at various times! Go out and be merry in your slaying of the monsters of Aden! NOTE: Orcish Santas and the following items will be removed on January 9 during server maintenance:

Here are the patch notes:

Balance adjustments made to tameable pet stats, attacks, and spells.

These changes reflect the pet updates implemented by NCK between the publish of Episodes 5 and 6. They include an overall boost to pet melee attacks, an overall boost to high pets over their un-evolved counter-parts, and a decrease to the effectiveness of Rabbit and High Rabbit magical attacks.

Enabled the spawning of Jindo Dog and Tiger NPCs

The taming food is Floating Eye meat.
Both of these creatures appear very difficult to tame, even moreso than the raccoon. I look forward to player feedback about the tameability of these guys.
The Tiger has been seen roaming around the second half of Pirate Island, sometimes chasing the Jindo Dog. The Jindo Dog has also been seen on Talking Island and mainland Aden.
